Hi, I'm Amara Roca, the puzzle-solver and founder of Roca Business Consulting.

My journey to becoming an accountant wasn't exactly a straight line. It started with a degree in Accounting (and a side of Economics) from Florida Atlantic University and a gig as a Staff Accountant for an e-commerce company. But before I could get too comfortable behind a desk, adventure called. I answered by teaching English in Thailand, crisscrossing the U.S. on an '87 Harley, and spending some soul-searching time in Peru.

After landing in beautiful Colorado, I kept meeting amazing small business owners who all said the same thing: "I love what I do, but I can't stand the paperwork!" That's when it clicked. I actually enjoy untangling numbers and making sense of the chaos.

So, here I am, offering top-notch small business bookkeeping, outsourced accounting, business consulting and coaching, and tax preparation services from my home base in Colorado to clients all over the country. I provide the back-office support that frees you up to get back to the work you're passionate about. Think of me as your financial co-pilot.
